Nicaragua-Wednesday morning Mission team update

God is SO good, y’all! Yesterday we visited the nursing home and our men took care of the foot needs of the gentlemen and Christie and Eliezer gave them haircuts. The women wanted their nails to be done along with some conversation (even with our communication challenges)! When our men were free to come over to the women’s side, a few of the women got to do a little dancing with the pastor and, oh man, the smiles on their faces was the prettiest sight ever! Houses continue to be built for families the Pearl Foundation serves as funds are available. Pictures show a current home made of plastic and a new metal one.  This family of mother, father, and 3 year old have been sleeping  together on a single mattress. With their new home, they will have a double bed and a twin for the child, a tabletop cook stove and a gas tank to fuel it. Tuesday was such a spirit filled day! I wish all could have seen the men and women on their knees serving these elderly folks who are often forgotten but have so much love to share..
Wednesday offers us 2 Bible clubs with about 140 children and a feeding program. We pray that through our telling and acting out of the story of Noah the children will learn a lesson God’s goodness and promises that will follow them the rest of their lives. To God be the glory!
