We have a lot going on at VGMC! We have some incredible opportunities coming up for us to do outreach and be the hands and feet of Jesus. Here is what's happening:
Ladies!!
Calling all ladies of the church!! Please join us for a luncheon and time of fellowship on Saturday, July 25 at 12:00 in the fellowship hall. This is for all women whether or not you are a member of any of our Circle groups. We are making plans for a fun time to be together. Put it on your calendar now!
Vanceboro Christian Help Center
The VCHC is currently in need of the below items. There is a box in the Fellowship Hall for donations.
Ramen Noodles, Mac N Cheese cups, cereal, dry milk, diapers (size 4 and 5), pop top canned foods, spaghetti sauce, pasta noodles
Lamb’s Care
-VGMC Buddies! For the last two years, VGMC members have blessed families at Lamb’s Care by sending cards, toys, and encouragement on special occasions. Men and women can participate! You will receive an “All About Me” sheet giving you information about the child!
For the upcoming 2026–2027 school year, Lamb’s Care has 14 children currently enrolled. Seven are already paired with a VGMC partner, and we are looking for volunteers for the remaining seven. -Sponsorships: A few months ago, we shared a request for financial assistance for two children attending Lamb’s Care for the 2026–2027 school year. We are incredibly grateful that one of these children has now been fully sponsored!
We are still seeking an anonymous sponsor for a 4-year-old child who will be attending our program 4 days a week. At Lamb’s Care, we have never turned a child away due to financial need, and we want to ensure this family is supported.
Tuition Sponsorship Options:
School Supply Drive
VGMC is excited to sponsor a School Supply Drive to support the students and teachers at Bridgeton Elementary School and Vanceboro Farm Life Elementary! This is a huge undertaking! The estimate of students between both schools is around 700-800! Let’s come together to show our community love and ensure these kids have everything they need for a successful school year.
This includes all grade levels for both schools. We will be collecting donations from now until Sunday, July 26. Boxes will be placed in the Fellowship Hall for donations. We also created an Amazon Wish List for convenience (please see the email sent to you on June 15, 2026 for the Amazon link).

- Co-Sponsorship: Partner with someone else to cover half the tuition ($1,080.00 each-due in September).
